Yummy Treats

I just wanted to share some of the treats I have been creating in the kitchen this weekend. First off, I love the Pioneer Woman and all that she creates. I'm sure my boys love her too seeing as how she is the one providing me with all of these awesome recipes.

First on the list Monster Cookies.

Next I made Pioneer Woman's Citrus Butter Cookies and as in the name there is a ton of butter in these cookies, FOUR sticks to be exact. I might try and make these with less butter, they were just too rich. They had an amazing citrus flavor and I think everyone liked them, but the Monster Cookies were a real hit and I will be making them in the near future. Now I forgot to take a picture of these so I had to take a picture from the Internet. Mine did not look this yummy. 

The reason for all of this baking (because I am NOT a baker) is me trying to prove to my husband that I need and would use a hot pink or sunshine yellow Kitchen Aid Mixer! My birthday (oh my gosh 31) is coming up and I would really love to have one. We will see.
