School House
6:09 pm - Finally, I am finally alone with my thoughts, computer, pepper jelly, cream cheese, and pita chips. I am a happy girl.
For the past several months, Grant and I have been tossing around the idea of me staying home and returning to school. Well, as of August 1, 2013, I will be a stay at home mom and student.
There have been more times than I would like to remember where I knew I would be perfect for a job and was looked over because I did not have that piece of paper, a degree, a college degree. I will not let that happen to me again, I have registered for school and will begin in the Fall. Go me!
I'm not the only one going to school in the Fall, Jackson will start kindergarten in two weeks and Luke will be at Asbury! They are both growing up way too fast for me. Jackson wants to ride the bus and do all things "big kid" related and Luke wants to do everything Jackson does. Thankfully, I will be able to schedule my school around his and be home waiting for the bus to deliver my precious cargo.
We went school supplies shopping last week and let me just tell you, that is a hectic task. We had a lot of fun though, I love anything paper and Jackson loves getting anything.
I also love when my sweet hubby surprises me with gifts like flowers and a bag of Rolos for no reason at all other than he loves me. I'm a lucky girl.
