Oh What A Year We Had...
A really really good year. I tried to think of all the major things that happened throughout the year for us and this is what I came up with. I'm sure I'm missing something and maybe this list doesn't make our year sound so cool, but hey, I can't put everything! Ok let's get started.
We discovered Jackson wasn't hearing us as well as he should and after some testing we scheduled him to have his tonsils and adenoids removed and tubes put in his ears. Super scary for mommy.
We took Jackson to his first concert, which was Jason Aldean and we listened to all of about four songs before the kid was tired and ready to go home. And I had to give evil mommy stares to a few girls that were blocking my baby's view. They made sure to stay out of his line of view or the remainder of the concert.
We finally had a patio built onto the house and love it! Now we can really enjoy summer night dinners outside.
We met our amazing friends the Langhofer's!
I finally made it to Canton! It was supposed to be warm so I wore shorts and well, it was FREEZING!!! My friend Natalie bought me a huge and very glittery sweatshirt to keep warm! We had a blast and I even came home with a few treasures. Oh and they had the most delicious corn dogs. I would go back just for them.
We were first time coaches for Jackson's baseball team!
I ran my first 5K beginning to end!
Jackson had his last day at Asbury Ark. He was there for five wonderful years. (Kindergarten is so close)
I quit my job and enrolled in school!!!!
My grandparents sold their house and moved into a retirement community, this was very difficult on all of us, but they are happy!
We went camping in the mountains with Grants parents and had an amazing time! The boys loved running free in the mountain trails and we saw black bears!!
Jackson started kindergarten and Luke had his first day at Asbury Ark! My boys are growing up way too fast.
Luke had his first Christmas program and it was the cutest thing ever.
We had wonderful family filled holidays.
And last but not least, I passed with flying colors my first semester back to school!
I think that about wraps the year up.
You had a busy, wonderful year! And I will sooo meet you at canton for one of those corn dogs (I went for the first time this year and was pretty obsessed with all the food, haha!).
